At 5:50 am on March 12^th, the Saudi Taiba EPC project achieved another success – the GT11 gas turbine was successfully ignited on the first attempt. All operating parameters of the gas turbine were excellent, and all auxiliary systems were operating stably, marking the successful ignition of the first 7HA.03 new gas turbine in the Saudi region.

To achieve this milestone, the Taiba project team drew heavily on successful experience from previous gas turbine commissioning projects. They proactively organized all necessary conditions for ignition, coordinated with the manufacturer, commissioning teams, and other stakeholders, and strictly implemented safety and technical briefings to ensure a flawless ignition process.
