Recently, the IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition was successfully held in Glasgow,United Kingdom. SEPCOIII’s UAE Hassyan Seawater Desalination EPC Project won the 2026 International Water Association (IWA) Gold Award for Excellent Project Execution and Delivery.

The UAE Hassyan Seawater Desalination Project is SEPCOIII’s second large-scale seawater desalination project in the UAE.With a daily water production capacity of 180 MIGD(approximately 818,000 cubic meters),the project,upon completion, will help meet future domestic water demand in Dubai and serves as a key local livelihood project.Powered by 100% green electricity,the project integrates marine ecological monitoring, turtle conservation,mangrove restoration and other measures throughout construction.It achieves coordinated progress of efficient water supply and ecological protection,showcasing SEPCOIII’s expertise in seawater desalination engineering and green project delivery.
