On May 6th, the GT11 unit of The Saudi Taiba EPC Project successfully completed reverse energization on the first attempt.

The GT11 gas turbine is one of the core power generation units of the project. To ensure the success of the reverse energization at the first attempt, the project team conducted advance planning and meticulous organization, and developed a detailed dedicated reverse energization scheme along with contingency plans. Prior to energization, the project team maintained close coordination with the owner, ACWA, and the equipment manufacturers, carrying out comprehensive inspections and testing of key equipment such as GIS, transformers, and protection devices to ensure all conditions met the requirements for energization.

Witnessed by all parties, the reverse energization of GT11 was successfully completed on the first attempt, with all protection devices operating correctly, instrument indications accurate, and equipment running steadily.
