On June 18, On June 18, 2026, all 67 wind turbines of the Saudi Waad AL-Shamal 500MW Wind Power Project were successfully connected to the grid and commenced power generation. Located in the northern border province of Saudi Arabia and 1,200 kilometers away from Jubail Port, the project is equipped with 67 sets of 7.7MW large-capacity mainstream wind turbine units. As a key component of Saudi Arabia’s strategic energy transition initiative, the completed project will vigorously accelerate the shift of the local energy structure toward green and low-carbon development.
