Recently, Unit 2 of the Kenya Olkaria I Rehabilitation Project undertaken by SEPCOIII achieved successful grid connection on its first attempt.

Blessed with the world-famous Great Rift Valley, Kenya boasts abundant geothermal resources with an estimated power generation potential exceeding 10,000 megawatts. Leveraging such resources, the Kenya Geothermal Power Station EPC Project carries out renovation and upgrading of an existing power plant. Located within Hell’s Gate National Park in Naivasha, Nakuru County, Kenya, the project increases unit output and energy efficiency while maintaining the original total steam supply. It cuts project costs and lowers resource consumption and waste generation simultaneously.
