Recently, SEPCOIII’s Saudi Rabigh Phase IV Seawater Desalination EPC Project has won the 2026 Desalination Project of the Year Award, jointly presented by MEED, a leading authoritative financial media in the Middle East, and Mashreq Bank. This marks another milestone achievement of the project in high-quality performance, technological innovation and international influence. Located in Rabigh City along Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast and adjacent to the Rabigh Phase III Seawater Desalination Project, the Saudi Rabigh Phase IV Seawater Desalination EPC Project has a daily water production capacity of 600,000 cubic meters. Upon completion, it can supply basic domestic water to over 3 million households in major Saudi cities. After reliable commissioning and operation, the project set a record for the shortest construction period among similar units and established a new global benchmark for the lowest power consumption of seawater desalination projects.
