Million Hours, Together Overcoming Challenges. On January 22, Saudi time, the Saudi Qassim 1 Combined Cycle Power Plant EPC project organized a celebration for reaching one million safe working hours. Eric Maka, Executive President of ACWA Headquarters, attended the event on-site and participated alongside the owner’s team, project management team, and all subcontractors, jointly witnessing the milestone achievement in the project’s safety management.

At the celebration ceremony, Eric Maka, Executive President of ACWA Headquarters, delivered a speech. He extended warm congratulations to the Saudi Qassim 1 Combined Cycle Power Plant EPC project for successfully achieving ten million safe man-hours, stating that this milestone reflects the project management team’s proactive identification and effective control of various safety risks, as well as the strong synergy and shared responsibility maintained between the EPC team and the owner over the long term. After the speech, the owner presented the project team with the "Ten Million Safe Man-Hours" trophy. The owner’s representative and the project leadership team jointly awarded certificates and trophies to outstanding individuals and subcontractors with exceptional safety performance, followed by a group photo. At the end of the event, the owner and the project management team together cut the celebratory cake.
