Recently, SEPCOIII’s Saudi Al Ghat 600MW Wind Power EPC Project has won the 2026 Power Project of the Year Award, jointly presented by Middle East Economic Digest (MEED) and Mashreq Bank. The award marks high recognition from authoritative international institutions of the project’s outstanding performance in high-quality delivery, engineering construction, technological innovation and sustainable development, further elevating SEPCOIII’s global brand influence in the new energy sector. With a total installed capacity of 600MW, the Saudi Al Ghat Wind Power Project is equipped with 80 wind turbines of 7.7MW each, ranking it among the wind power projects with the largest single-unit capacity in Saudi Arabia to date. Since the first turbine was connected to the grid for power generation in March this year, the project has delivered over 700 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity to the Saudi power grid, strongly supporting the clean energy supply of the national power system. It serves as a key practical initiative to advance the energy transformation strategy of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. Winning the MEED Power Project of the Year Award fully recognizes the project’s high-standard delivery achievements and the professional capabilities of the project team, and represents another major breakthrough for SEPCOIII in the Middle East new energy market. Going forward, the company will steadily advance the follow-up construction of its overseas wind power projects, continuously sharpen its core competitiveness in international new energy engineering, bolster global green and low-carbon transition, and contribute to building a cleaner and greener world.
