Following the successful turning of GT11 on December 4 and GT12 on December 18 last year, GT13 of The Saudi Taiba EPC Project was successfully turned on January 12 local time, marking the complete and successful turning of all three 7HA.03 heavy-duty gas turbines of the project. Building on the experience gained from the successful turning of the first two units, the project team thoroughly summarized lessons learned and continuously optimized the organization plan. Focusing on the critical milestone of GT13 turning, all disciplines were well coordinated to recheck and reconfirm the turning prerequisites. During execution, unified on-site command and advance coordination were implemented, with close attention to key steps. The team worked in close cooperation, all operating parameters of the gas turbine remained stable, and the turning process was safe, controllable, and successful on the first attempt. The successful turning of GT13 not only fully demonstrated the project team’s solid technical expertise, rigorous work style, and strong commitment to overcoming challenges, but also laid a solid foundation for subsequent key milestones such as gas turbine ignition and single-cycle power generation.
