On March 14th, the unit of the Jorf Lasfar EPC Project in Morocco was successfully connected to the grid for the first time, marking the successful completion of another key milestone in the project's construction. Previously, on March 12th, the project had smoothly achieved the turbine overspeed rotation target. Within a mere 48 hours, the project successively conquered two core critical nodes: turbine rotation and grid connection. The commissioning efficiency was significantly better than that of similar units in the OCP plant site. By virtue of efficient performance and strong strength, the project has won high praise and full recognition from the Owner. To ensure the smooth delivery of the grid connection milestone, the project team exercised scientific coordination and meticulous deployment. Under the full witness of the Owner, the unit completed a series of key commissioning tests including the generator short-circuit test, no-load test, and grid connection test. During the grid connection process, the impulse current of the unit was stable, the export voltage and frequency of the generator stably maintained within the rated range, the overall unit was in good operating condition, and each system responded normally. The main operating parameters all met the design requirements, fully demonstrating the strong technical strength and refined organization and management level of the project team.
