On June 30, Unit 2 of the 2×660MW ultra-supercritical double-reheat coal-fired power generation project at the China Coal Lu’an Power Plant—constructed by SEPCOIII successfully completed its 168-hour full-load trial operation, achieving the goal of commencing power generation to a high standard. Liu Fangjiang, Vice President of the company, attended the ceremony. The project is located in Lu'an City, Anhui Province, featuring two 660 MW ultra-supercritical double reheat coal-fired generating units. Upon completion, it will generate approximately 6.3 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually. The facility will effectively fill Anhui Province's power supply gap during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, while enhancing the power supply capacity, safety and stability of the provincial power grid.
