At 12:06 on November 11, the hydrostatic test of the No. 1 waste heat boiler at the Guangzhou Baiyun Hengyun Project was successfully completed on the first attempt, marking the smooth achievement of another major milestone for the project team.

During this hydrostatic test:

- The high-pressure drum had an operating pressure of 15.62 MPa and a test pressure of 19.53 MPa;

- The intermediate-pressure drum had an operating pressure of 3.59 MPa and a test pressure of 4.49 MPa; The reheat system operating pressure was 3.30 MPa, with a test pressure of 4.95 MPa; the low-pressure drum operating pressure was 1.04 MPa, and the low-pressure system test pressure was 1.44 MPa. To ensure the successful completion of the hydrostatic test, the project department proactively planned and scientifically organized the process, developing a meticulous and detailed implementation plan and contingency measures, along with comprehensive safety and technical briefings. During the hydrostatic test, all departments and specialties worked in close coordination, strictly adhering to the established plan and relevant regulations for all operations. Personnel from the owner, supervision, manufacturer’s representative, and special inspection institute jointly supervised the entire process, monitoring water quality, pressure rise/fall rates, boiler expansion, and other conditions to rigorously control process safety and quality. Ultimately, all pressure-bearing welds, valves, relevant pressure components, and sealing welds of Boiler No. 1 demonstrated zero leakage throughout the test. All technical indicators, including process quality, met specification requirements, marking the successful completion of the hydrostatic test.

The successful completion of the hydrostatic test for Boiler No. 1 lays a solid foundation for the smooth progression of subsequent project tasks.
