At 10:30 AM local time on November 1st, the GT12 of Uzbekistan Surkhandarya CCGT Power Project was smoothly positioned on its designated foundation with the precise coordination of multiple large hoisting devices. This marks the successful completion of another key construction milestone for the project and lays a solid foundation for subsequent unit installation and commissioning. The GT12 , manufactured and supplied by Siemens AG of Germany, is a heavy-duty gas turbine model SGT5-9000HL. This model is Siemens’ latest generation air-cooled gas turbine, with a rated output of 551.8 MW, a total weight of approximately 388.69 tons, and dimensions of 13170×4839×5108 mm. To ensure the safe and smooth implementation of the hoisting task, the project team held a special technical coordination meeting in advance, making meticulous arrangements for the hoisting plan, hoisting point layout, stress calculations, construction safety, and emergency measures. The hoisting operation utilized the ENENPAC SBL1100 hydraulic jacking device. All relevant professionals cooperated closely, strictly adhering to the established plan. On-site scheduling was scientific, orderly, and command precise and efficient. The project team will use this milestone as an opportunity to continue upholding the work principles of "High Standards, Strict Requirements, Detail Orientation, and Pragmatic Implementation" summarizing experiences, and making persistent efforts to fully advance subsequent key tasks such as electromechanical installation and system commissioning, ensuring the project is completed and put into operation on schedule with high quality and high standards.
