Recently, Bahrain ALBA Power Project has won the "Best Power Project Award" in the Bahrain region for the year 2025, thanks to its outstanding engineering quality, innovative technology and comprehensive value. 

The MEED Annual Building Quality Award (MEED Projects Awards) is jointly organized by the well-known business magazine MEED and Mashreq Bank. The award aims to identify and honor the best construction projects, infrastructure projects, and municipal facilities in the construction industry. It is one of the most influential awards for evaluating building quality in the Middle East region. 

Bahrain ALBA Power Project is located in the ASKAR area of the Southern Province of Bahrain. The project adopts a combined cycle technology and is arranged in a one-turbine-one-condenser configuration. The designed installed capacity of the project is 680.8 MW in winter and 592.4 MW in summer. On December 21, 2024, the project successfully completed the PAC work and obtained the TOC certificate. The successful commissioning of this project is of extremely significant importance for promoting the new leap in production capacity of Bahrain Aluminum Group and facilitating local economic development.
