On December 6 Saudi time, the first Generator Step-Up Transformer (GSUT) of the Durma PP12 Expansion CCGT IPP Project was successfully positioned, marking another critical milestone achieved by the project team.

The GSUT is manufactured by TBEA Co., Ltd. (Xinjiang), with a weight of 289 tons and overall dimensions of 11.6m × 4.1m × 4.3m. To ensure installation accuracy and process safety, the project leadership conducted thorough advance planning, implemented comprehensive safety and technical briefings, and maintained close collaboration among on-site construction personnel. Relevant technical staff provided full-shift supervision throughout the operation, ensuring a smooth and orderly installation process and the successful completion of the GSUT positioning task.

The smooth installation of the GSUT has laid a solid foundation for subsequent electrical equipment installation. The project department will continue to adhere to the "High Standards, Strict Requirements, Detailed Execution, and Pragmatic Approach" working principle, progressing steadily and reliably to ensure the successful achievement of all project milestones.
