On the morning of April 16th local time, Zhao Qiming, Chairman of the Company, visited the Saudi Taiba EPC Project for research and guidance. Zhou Hejun, Deputy General Manager of the Company, accompanied him on the inspection.

Zhao Qiming went deep into the construction frontline and inspected the gas turbine area, steam turbine area, gas area and relevant construction zones on site. He gained a detailed understanding of the construction and commissioning progress of the project’s simple-cycle and combined-cycle units. He spoke highly of and fully affirmed the phased achievements made by the project team , and put forward guiding opinions in light of the project’s current conditions.

Subsequently, Zhao Qiming chaired a project work meeting, where he heard offline work reports from the Saudi Taiba, Rabigh Phase IV, Red Sea, Yanbu Wind Power and Yanbu Phase III projects, as well as online reports from the Iraqi and Qatari projects.

During the visit, Zhao Qiming held talks with Mr. Ahmer Nadeem, CEO of ACWA Power Project Company. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on project construction progress, safety and quality management, resource support, and the advancement of follow-up key milestones.
