From February 10th to 11th local time, Liu Minghua, general manager, and Zhou Hejun, the vice general manager, led a team to inspect and guide the EPC project of the 500MW single-cycle peak regulation power station in Qatar.

On the afternoon of February 10th, Liu Minghua and his team went deep into the construction site, observing the operation status of key areas and critical equipment such as the control center building, the gas turbine, and the generator. They carefully inspected the engineering materials, construction techniques, and on-site management, and comprehensively understood the current status of project safety, quality, and progress control.

Subsequently, Liu Minghua organized a project work meeting, listening to the project department’s report on the overall progress of the project, business performance risks, response measures, and the next stage plan. They also conducted a special feedback on the hidden dangers identified during the major and key project quality inspection and rectification special activity. They also cared about and understood the work adaptation and growth of the new employees of the project, encouraging them to hone their skills and increase their abilities in international projects. Based on the investigation and report, Liu Minghua pointed out that the current project has entered the critical stage of final push for high-quality delivery.

On the morning of February 11th, Liu Minghua and his team visited the owner, Qatar Electricity Company, and held a meeting with CEO Mohammed Nasser Al-Hajri. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on the project’s construction progress and resource guarantees, and reached important consensus on jointly promoting the project’s high-quality commissioning, laying a good foundation for the subsequent smooth implementation of the project.
