SEPCOIII  convened 2026 Mid-year Work Conference in Qingdao on the afternoon of July 28.

Zhao Qiming, Chairman of the Company, delivered a speech titled Strengthen Mission Responsibility, Focus on Lean Management, Forge Ahead to Overcome Difficulties, Unite Efforts to Ensure High-quality Completion of Annual Targets. Liu Minghua, General Manager of the Company, presided over the conference. Wang Dawei, Chairman of the Trade Union, conveyed the spirits of the 2026 Mid-year Work Conference of the Group. External Directors Ding Zhengguo, Liu Hong, Li Donglin and Yu Yin attended the conference via video link. Company leaders Feng Zhengwen, Liu Fangjiang, Chen Yunpeng, Kong Lingfeng, Zhu Hui and Ni Jiawei were present at the meeting.

Zhao Qiming pointed out that in the first half of the year, centering on the main line of high-quality and sustainable development and the work theme of the Year of Project Management Improvement, the Company made steady progress in all undertakings. Production and operation maintained stable momentum, strategic layout advanced in depth, market development achieved fruitful results, emergency response was precise and efficient, project management kept improving, operational control delivered remarkable outcomes, technological and digital integration empowered development, and the overall business performance remained stable and positive.

Zhao Qiming conducted an in-depth analysis of the current situation and deployed work priorities for the second half of the year. He stressed that in the second half of the year, the Company shall focus on the core goal of high-quality and sustainable development, adhere to the theme of the Year of Project Management Improvement, go all out to explore markets, advance project execution and strengthen operation management, strive to fully accomplish all annual targets, and sustain the Company’s development with high-quality growth.

Zhao Qiming required all staff to grasp three key priorities and deliver five major tasks. The three priorities are: uphold strategic guidance to clarify the general development direction; boost capacity building to further advance the Year of Project Management Improvement; and enhance work style development to fully secure the achievement of annual targets. The five major tasks are specified as follows: first, prioritize market expansion to drive business growth; second, strengthen lean management to lift operational efficiency and benefits; third, pursue innovation-driven development and deepen integrated empowerment; fourth, reinforce risk control to consolidate safety safeguards; fifth, promote in-depth integration of Party building and business to pool development synergy.

Representatives from six headquarters management departments, business support units and operational units delivered commitment speeches.

Liu Minghua put forward requirements for implementing the conference outcomes: first, unify thinking and build consensus to identify the direction of progress from a higher standpoint; second, innovate approaches and promote practice through learning to boost voluntary initiative with deeper understanding; third, refine tasks and implement closed-loop management to guarantee solid delivery with concrete measures.
