On November 18th, the establishment conference of the Photothermal Branch of the China Power Industry Federation was held in Shanghai. The theme of this conference was "Unite Strengths, Set Sail on a New Journey, and Build a New Pattern for Photothermal Development". Liu Minghua, general manager, was invited to attend the conference and delivered a speech as the representative of the member units.

Liu Minghua pointed out that photothermal power generation, with its stable output, flexible regulation, and natural energy storage advantages, is becoming an important force in building a new power system. The establishment of the Photothermal Power Generation Association is timely and of great significance. It not only builds a high-end platform for pooling wisdom, sharing resources, and collaborative innovation, but also will effectively promote technological breakthroughs, cost reduction, and scenario expansion, thereby significantly enhancing the international competitiveness of China's photothermal industry. 

Liu Minghua stated that as one of the earliest enterprises in China to carry out photothermal EPC general contracting business, the company has established a full industrial chain advantage in areas such as technology research and development, planning consultation, survey and design, engineering contracting, equipment manufacturing, and investment operation. The self-developed heliostat control and calibration system has been successfully selected for the list of the first batch of major technological equipment in the national energy field. The launched PCS3-SH Gen.1/Gen.2 small heliostat complete product and PCS3-SH Gen.3 medium-sized heliostat have been committed to continuously reducing the initial investment cost of photothermal power stations, providing solid support for the large-scale and commercial application of photothermal power generation. 

Liu Minghua stated that the development of the photothermal industry urgently requires synchronous resonance among all links in the industrial chain. The company is willing to take the establishment of the association as a new starting point, work together with all colleagues, gather the power of innovation, jointly build a technological highland, carry out joint research and development, accelerate the transformation of innovation achievements; pool the strength of the industry, jointly promote cost reduction and efficiency improvement, deeply explore the potential for cost reduction in the entire industrial chain, and jointly enhance the economic and market competitiveness of China's photothermal power generation; pool the strength of the market, jointly explore the application blueprint, and let China's photothermal solutions go global.

This conference attracted nearly 150 representatives from government agencies, industry associations, research institutions, universities, and member units of the Photothermal Society to attend in person. The member units jointly issued an initiative at the conference, pledging to uphold the concepts of "openness, inclusiveness, pragmatism, and innovation", and to pool the wisdom and strength of the entire industry to contribute the photothermal power for ensuring national energy security and comprehensively promoting the construction of a beautiful China.
