On November 16th, a project signing ceremony between Engie, SEPCOIII and Longi is held in Beijing, where they officially signed the contract for the Khazna 1500MW Solar PV Independent Power Project (EPC) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Khazna 1500MW Solar PV Independent Power Project (EPC) in Abu Dhabi, UAE, adopts a centralized photovoltaic layout, with supporting facilities including an automatic cleaning system, centralized inverters, box-type substations, horizontal single-axis tracking brackets and other related auxiliary facilities. After completion, the project will effectively enhance the diversity of the UAE's power grid supply structure, meet the growing industrial and civil power demand in the Abu Dhabi region, and provide solid support for optimizing the local energy structure and building a clean, low-carbon and modern power system. As another important cooperation achievement between Engie Group and SEPCOIII following the Saudi Jubail 3B Seawater Desalination Project, this project is also the first large-scale photovoltaic project undertaken by SEPCOIII in the UAE market under the EPC mode. SEPCOIII has actively responded to China's "Belt and Road" Initiative, deeply integrated into the UAE's "Energy Strategy 2050", and fully seized the key opportunities for the coordinated development of gas and renewable. The successful signing of this project marks that SEPCOIII has achieved diversified layout and comprehensive breakthroughs in the fields of traditional energy, new energy and seawater desalination in the UAE market, further demonstrating its core competitiveness and brand influence in the high-end new energy market in Middle East. Looking ahead, SEPCOIII will adhere to advance the international development strategy, continue to deepen its presence in Middle East market and improve its global layout. It will inject new impetus into the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road" Initiative and contribute SEPCOIII's strength to the global energy transition. |
