From 4:30 a.m. on July 24 to 2:58 p.m. that afternoon, Gas Turbine No. 2 and the generator stator for The Saudi Taiba EPC Project were successfully installed in sequence in Area 12.

Both the turbine and generator were supplied by GE. The gas turbine model is 7HA.03, weighing 297 tons and measuring 10.6 meters in length; the generator model is H84, with a total weight of 321 tons. To ensure precise installation of the equipment, the project team actively drew on experience from the installation of Gas Turbines No. 1 and No. 3. A detailed construction plan was developed by the on-site team, along with comprehensive safety measures. During the installation process, the project team used an SBL1100 hydraulic lifting system for hoisting operations. All personnel strictly followed the safety and technical requirements, with professional supervisors monitoring the entire procedure. Thanks to the close cooperation of the construction team, the hoisting and placement of Gas Turbine No. 2 and the generator stator were carried out safely and efficiently.
