On July 16 local time, the Lumut Barai Phase II geothermal power station project in Indonesia, which was constructed under the EPC general contracting mode, officially received the completion certificate signed by the owner. The issuance of this certificate marks the successful completion of the project's engineering construction phase and its full transition to the operational performance testing and index verification phase. This project is the first flash geothermal power station EPC project executed by a Chinese enterprise globally. It is located in Muyin District, Palembang City, South Sumatra Province, Indonesia, with an installed capacity of 55MW. Since the start of construction, the project team has completed the entire chain of tasks including design, procurement, construction and commissioning with high quality, achieving safe and stable operation of the unit. Previously, it has already achieved important node goals such as SLO, COD and 15-day reliable operation on schedule. The project is not only an important project of the Indonesian government to achieve the goal of "adding 5.2GW of geothermal power generation capacity and the proportion of renewable energy capacity reaching 76% of the new power generation capacity by 2034", but also an important demonstration project of energy cooperation between China and India, with significant strategic significance. The completion of this project has provided a solid guarantee for easing the local power supply pressure, promoting the green energy transformation, and facilitating the economic and social development of the region. It has also contributed "Chinese wisdom" and "Chinese strength" to Indonesia's realization of its sustainable development strategic goals.
