On 4 August Saudi time, the 14th gas turbine of Saudi Qassim 1 Combined Cycle Power Plant EPC project was successfully hoisted into place.

To ensure the smooth installation of the gas turbine, the project team planned ahead, conducted scientific preparations, and actively carried out related preparatory work such as inspections and acceptance of the gas turbine foundation, pre-installation work acceptance, review of the installation plan, and inspection of installation equipment. The installation utilized the SBL1100 hydraulic lifting device. During the process, all specialised teams collaborated closely and coordinated effectively, ensuring the installation proceeded safely and orderly. With the collective efforts of all construction personnel, the 14th gas turbine was successfully installed.

The successful installation of Unit 14 has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent gas turbine installation work of the project.
