On April 21, SEPCOIII successfully signed the contract for the bamboo facade decoration project of the Rosewood Hotel and Residential Complex, the core project of Saudi Arabia's Amaala ultra-luxury tourism resort.

The Saudi Amaala ultra-luxury tourism resort project is a mega luxury tourism initiative under Saudi Arabia's 'Vision 2030' strategy. Located on the northwest coast of Saudi Arabia, it is positioned as a 'global beacon for wellness tourism' and is adjacent to the NEOM new city.

The bamboo facade decoration project signed this time will use modular bamboo materials that have undergone special carbonization treatment. The construction area is approximately 26,000 square meters, covering the supply and installation links. Compared with traditional building materials, this material is resistant to wind and sand and high temperatures, while reducing carbon emissions by 63% over its entire life cycle, perfectly meeting Saudi Arabia's carbon neutrality goal of "Vision 2030". After completion, the Rosewood project will become the world's first bamboo structure complex to receive dual LEED Platinum + WELL certification.

At the signing ceremony, Fahad Al Balawi, Executive Director of Amaala Construction of Red Sea Global, said: “From the protection of coral reefs in the Red Sea to water-saving systems in the desert, Amaala has always implemented the concept of ecological priority. The use of bamboo is not only a technological breakthrough, but also a modern interpretation of the traditional Saudi Bedouin architectural wisdom.”

Establish an ecological benchmark and embark on a new green journey. From the Saudi Red Sea project to the Amaala tourist belt, the company's project team is employing innovative methods to advance sustainable development in Saudi Arabia. The successful implementation of bamboo facades will also establish a new standard for ecological buildings in the Middle East.
