On the afternoon of July 1st, Li Feng, the first-level Inspector of the National office of Water Conservation visited SEPCOIII. Present at the meeting were Meng Fan, the first-level Inspector of the Guangdong Provincial Water Resources Department, Fu Weixiang, the Second-level Inspector of the Shandong Provincial Water Resources Department, and Wan Guanglin, the Deputy Director of the Qingdao Water Administratio Bureau and the Member of the Party Group of the bureau, and Liu Minghua, the General Manager of SEPCOIII.

Liu Minghua expressed his welcome to Li Feng’s visit and thanked the National office of Water Conservation, the provincial water resources departments and the Qingdao Water Administratio Bureau for their care and guidance to the company. He introduced the company’s business scale, personnel composition and other basic situations as well as the detailed development of seawater desalination business and its technical advantages. He said that seawater desalination, as a technology to increase water resources, is an important way to solve the problem of water shortage and has a broad prospect. Facing the future, SEPCOIII will seize the opportunity of the blue ocean economic development, focus on technological breakthroughs, market expansion and industrial coordination, and strive to build demonstration projects to promote high-quality development in the water affairs field.

Li Feng highly praised the remarkable achievements and rich results that SEPCOIII has made in the field of seawater desalination. He said that as an internationally renowned EPC project general contractor in seawater desalination, SEPCOIII is powerful and developing strongly. Its technological innovation and practical achievements have provided a high-quality model for solving the problem of water shortage in coastal areas and have an important leading role in promoting the development of the seawater desalination industry. He hoped that in the future, the government and the enterprise would take policies as a link and projects as a handle to jointly explore innovative cooperation models in the field of seawater desalination and work together to contribute more to the construction of the national marine economy and the security of water resources.

During the meeting, Li Feng and his team visited the company’s cultural exhibition hall and learned in detail about the company’s development history, honors and the development of seawater desalination.
