On May 20, the Guinness World Records certification ceremony for the Saudi Red Sea Utility Infrastructure Project, EPC contracted by SEPCOIII, was held at the company's headquarters in Qingdao. Guinness World Records Adjudicator Xiong Wen and other attendees gathered to witness the moment when the Saudi Red Sea Utility Infrastructure Project challenged the Guinness World Record for "the largest off-grid battery energy storage project by capacity."

Xiong Wen presented the "Largest Off-Grid Battery Energy Storage Project by Capacity" Guinness World Records certificate to the company.

As a key project under Saudi Vision 2030, the Saudi Red Sea Utility Infrastructure Project focuses on clean energy and environmental protection, committing to green and pollution-free energy supply. It is the world's first large-scale commercial utility project integrating multi-energy complementarity and the largest overseas energy supporting infrastructure project by Chinese enterprises, encompassing modules such as photovoltaic power, energy storage, power grids, seawater desalination, water supply networks, wastewater treatment, wastewater pipelines, solid waste treatment, communications, and district cooling. The energy storage project that obtained the Guinness certification has a storage capacity of up to 1125.18 MWh. This Guinness World Record achievement injects strong momentum into enhancing the company's market reputation, brand influence, and international competitiveness.
