On the afternoon of July 14, Zhao Qiming, the Chairman of the Company, went to Japan for a talk with Takao Tsukui, the President and CEO of Mitsubishi Power, Ltd. Daichi Nakajima, the Executive Vice President of Mitsubishi Power, Ltd., and Chen Yunpeng, the Deputy General Manager of the Company, attended the talk.

Zhao Qiming reviewed the cooperation history between the two sides, expressed his gratitude for the consistent support from Mitsubishi Power, and introduced the company’s strategic planning, organizational structure and overseas business layout. He stated that Mitsubishi Power is one of the important partners of SEPCOIII in the global market. The two sides have jointly built a number of benchmark projects and laid a solid foundation for cooperation. Looking ahead, he hoped that taking this talk as an opportunity, the two sides would strengthen regular communication, steadily advance existing cooperation projects, focus on key regions and markets, further expand cooperation areas, deepen cooperation connotations, scale up cooperation achievements, write a new chapter of high-quality development, and activate new momentum for global energy development.

Takao Tsukui welcomed Zhao Qiming and his delegation, affirmed the implementation of the cooperation projects between the two sides, and introduced Mitsubishi Power’s business segments, production and operation as well as development plans. He said that as an internationally renowned EPC general contractor, SEPCOIII has achieved fruitful results and rich performance in overseas development, and has a profound friendship with Mitsubishi Power, with broad cooperation prospects and huge cooperation space. He looked forward to further strengthening collaborative cooperation and resource sharing with the Company in such fields as gas power generation, giving play to their respective unique advantages, seizing international development opportunities, continuously deepening the strategic cooperative partnership, achieving strong alliance and mutual benefit, and contributing to the global green and low-carbon transformation.
